Kanha Earth Lodge is tucked away in a tiny tribal town bordering the Kanha Tiger and is spread out over 16 acres of natural forest. The lodge and its furnishings are built and created utilizing discarded and repurposed wood from the surrounding area, being a perfect example of green architecture's highest standards. The absence of nearby lodges and public roads gives the true reflection of a quiet and thoughtful period of rest and renewal while visiting India's top tiger reserve. Its distinctive location guarantees that it is close enough for simple access to the park but also remote enough from Kanha National Park's bustling tourist area to provide its visitors with a genuine wilderness experience. The picturesque Gond tribal settlements that are found on the outskirts of Kanha served as inspiration for the design of the Lodge, which blends in seamlessly with the architecture of the surrounding countryside and forests. Around the lodge, there are wonderful trails for biking and strolling.

The lodge offers cottages and 12 exquisite open-fronted bungalows with en-suite bathrooms, dressing rooms, private sitting areas, and spacious open verandahs. For the unpredictable rural supply, all bedrooms have split air conditioners and a complete power backup system. The bungalows are mostly built of local stone, logs, baked tiles, and tribal handmade artifacts, and well-furnished with excellent rustic furniture, sanitary fittings, and cotton upholstery, the lodge is both simple and elegant. The dining room, a nature library cum presentation room, and an office cum eco shop, all are located in the main lodge structure. The big size lounge and bar have a view of the woodlands and are decorated with artifacts and also offer many relaxing corners for tired guests.

A variety of Indian and continental food is available for dining at Earth Lodge. The fresh ingredients from the adjacent villages are used to produce every dish offered at the lodge.

Earth Lodge has promoted a local kitchen garden initiative to ensure a regular variety of fruits and vegetables each day in order to grow the fresh produce that the lodge requires, The Under the Baadi (Kitchen Garden) collaborated with a few families that reside in local communities. They are assisted by Earth Lodge's technical expertise and need supply. While breakfast is served on safaris, lunches are served as Thalis and dinner is more casual with a la carte options from a variety of cuisines. Well, the main house is also fully stacked with a bar and beverage section. The in-house bakery produces bread, pastries, as well as chef's handcrafted ice cream as a treat to the visitors. The lodge offers some distinctive dining experiences which include Alfresco Meals & Bush Dinners. The bonfire is also lit at night to enjoy, sing, and dance with the locals and other guests.
