Four-wheel-drive open Jeep safaris are the ideal way to observe wildlife in the thick and lush green forests of Kanha National Park. Groups of tourists and individuals, accompanied by experienced naturalists, are allowed into the park at fixed timings. There are four different zones within Kanha National Park for Jeep Safari rides: Kisli, Mukki, Kanha, and Sarhi.
You can book the entrance ticket online, through travel agents, tour operators, or, if available, at the booking window located at the park's entrance gate. Vehicle charges and guide fees are separate expenses from the entrance ticket.
In Kanha National Park, you can do a Jeep safari twice in a single day: once in the early morning and again in the late afternoon, using six-seater open vehicles. Each vehicle can accommodate six passengers along with one naturalist and one driver. The number of vehicles permitted to enter the forest in each shift is limited.
To secure your safari seats, it's advisable to book the entrance ticket well in advance to avoid the possibility of unavailability.
